Start Small, Bloom Big: The Power of a To Do List

Greetings, my mommy machines!

It’s 6:02 a.m., and guess what? I just finished washing the dishes. Yep, your girl is already feeling accomplished. Starting the day off productive feels so good. I’m patting myself on the back, and I need you to do the same for yourself. Seriously, it’s a must! We’ve got to be our own biggest cheerleaders, even for the little things.

Because here’s the thing: small things do matter. They can grow into big things, depending on how you choose to look at it.

Yesterday, I made a to-do list. Nothing major, just a few small tasks like washing dishes, rescheduling an appointment, and buying toothpaste. (Okay, being honest… I kept forgetting the toothpaste! We still had some, but we were running low. You know how that goes.)

At the end of the day, I crossed some things off my list, and let me tell you, it felt good. Like, proud-of-myself kind of good. Making a to-do list has taught me that it’s not just about getting things done. It’s about learning structure, staying on track, and showing up for yourself, one task at a time. It helps you remember the little things that are easy to overlook but still so important.

So today, I’m passing the challenge to you:

Make a to-do list.

At the end of your day, see how much you were able to cross off, and then check in with yourself. How did it make you feel?

Wishing you an amazing Thursday! Do something different today. Set a goal or two and stick with it. Believe in yourself, because it all starts with you.

Until next time, my blooming tribe,

Keep blooming where you are.
