This year has been all about challenges—the kind that help you grow. I told myself I would finally start doing the things I’ve dreamed about, even the ones that once felt out of reach. One of those dreams was cooking. Not just any cooking, but big, soulful Sunday dinners for my family.
This is the first time I’ve consistently made full meals every Sunday, and honestly, I’m proud of myself. The kitchen has become my space to create, give, and love. Every dish I make feels special because I don’t just cook for taste—I cook with love. I cook with joy, with excitement, knowing that my family will be gathered around the table, laughing, sharing stories, and creating memories we’ll hold onto.
Sunday dinner has turned into a tradition, one that I hope my family remembers forever. I do it because I love them deeply, and in a world that moves so fast, sitting down to a home-cooked meal feels like an anchor. I’m a family girl to the core. My people are my biggest supporters, and I never take their presence for granted.
So as you read this, I want to challenge you—yes, you. Try something new. Do the thing that’s been sitting on your list for five years. Make space for love, for growth, for new beginnings. Whether it’s cooking, writing, starting a new tradition, or simply showing up for yourself—just begin.
Cook with love. Live with purpose. And don’t be afraid to fall in love with a new version of yourself.
